B.Des – Business Services & Systems Design: A 4-year professional design programme focused on designing and improving business services, systems and experiences through research, strategy, innovation and human-centred approaches.

B.Des – Creative & Applied Computation: Combines creative practice with computation, technology, programming and emerging digital possibilities to develop experimental and technology-driven solutions.

B.Des – Creative Education: Explores creative learning, pedagogy, educational environments and design approaches for developing new ways of teaching and learning.

B.Des – Human Centered Design: Focuses on understanding people, behaviours, contexts and needs to create meaningful products, services, systems and experiences.

B.Des – Industrial Arts & Design Practices: Explores materials, making, fabrication, industrial processes and design practice, combining conceptual thinking with hands-on experimentation.

B.Des – Information Arts & Information Design Practices: Focuses on transforming complex information into meaningful visual, interactive and experiential forms through design research and communication.

B.Des – Spatial Design: Focuses on the design of spaces, environments and spatial experiences through experimentation with architecture, materials, people and context.

B.Des – Textile Futures: Explores textiles through material experimentation, technology, sustainability, craft, culture and future-oriented textile practices.

B.Des – Visual Communication & Strategic Branding: Focuses on visual language, communication, identity, branding, graphic design, storytelling and strategic communication.

Course Eligibility

B.Des / BFA:

• 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board
• Minimum 45% aggregate for Indian applicants
• International qualification requirements vary by board
• Admission through the applicable Srishti Manipal Entrance & Aptitude Test (SMEAT) and selection process.

PG Diploma Bridge:

• Recognized 3-year or 4-year undergraduate degree
• Relevant recognized design/art/professional qualifications may also be accepted.

M.Des:

• Relevant NSQF Level 8 qualification, or
• 3-year undergraduate degree + 1 year, or
• Recognized PG Diploma, or
• 4-year undergraduate degree, or
• 5-year professional undergraduate degree.
