Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), Madurai is a long-established management institute founded in 1962 by philanthropist and industrialist Shri Karumuttu Thiagarajan Chettiar. The institute began with Executive Development Programmes and subsequently launched its part-time MBA in 1972 and full-time MBA in 1986.
TSM operates as an autonomous institution and has received NAAC A+ accreditation. Its MBA and PGDM programmes are AICTE approved and NBA accredited, while the PGDM is recognised by AIU as equivalent to an MBA.
The institute has a 17-acre green campus, 60+ faculty members, 800+ students and 5,000+ alumni according to its current institutional profile. TSM focuses on management education, experiential learning, analytics, industry interaction, internships, research and leadership development.

Courses
PGDM
TSM's flagship 2-year full-time PGDM is structured across six trimesters and combines management fundamentals with practical exposure, analytics labs, live projects, business simulations, case studies, industry visits and internships.
Students can specialise through elective streams including Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations and Business Analytics. The PGDM also includes an international study tour, domestic outbound training and capstone simulation.
MBA
The 2-year full-time MBA is a university-affiliated management degree. The programme provides functional specialisation opportunities through electives in areas such as Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, Business Analytics and Systems.
PGCM + MS International Twinning Programme
TSM offers a 2-year international dual-degree pathway combining a TSM PGDM with an MS degree from a partner university in the USA. Students spend one semester abroad and receive exposure to international faculty and global business practices. Specialisation areas include International Business, Global Marketing and International Finance.
