Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) is an autonomous engineering and management institute located at Gandipet, Kokapet, Hyderabad, Telangana. Established in 1979, CBIT has developed into one of the prominent engineering institutions in Telangana, with programmes across engineering, technology, management and computer applications.

CBIT is an UGC Autonomous Institution, with several programmes accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the institute holding NAAC A++ accreditation from its third cycle in 2023.

The institute has a strong focus on engineering education, research, innovation, industry interaction and employability. Its CSE department, for example, operates centres of excellence in areas such as IoT, AI/ML and Cyber Security, and has collaborations with industry and professional bodies.
