Institute of Rural Management (IRM), Jaipur, popularly known as FMS-IRM Jaipur, is a private management institute established in 1988. The institute focuses on management education with a particular emphasis on rural management, agriculture, financial inclusion, FMCG, banking, development-sector management and contemporary business functions.

IRM offers two principal two-year full-time programmes: PGDM and PGDM-RM (Rural Management). The curriculum combines management fundamentals with industry-oriented learning, dual specialisation, internships and practical exposure.

The institute has a Jaipur city campus in Mansarovar, while its rural campus at Phagi is spread across more than 120 acres and is approximately 35 km from the city campus.

PGDM

The 2-year full-time PGDM is designed for students seeking careers across mainstream management functions. The programme combines core management subjects with electives, dual specialisation, industry exposure, summer internship and additional certification opportunities.

Current specialisation areas include Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business Management and Digital Business Management, along with Business Analytics.

PGDM-RM

The 2-year PGDM-RM (Rural Management) focuses on management challenges and opportunities in rural and semi-urban markets. It is particularly relevant for careers in agri-business, rural finance, rural marketing, financial inclusion, development organisations, FMCG and rural-focused enterprises.

Current pathways include Agri-Business Management, Rural Finance, Rural Marketing, Digital Business Management and Business Analytics.

PGDM + Business Analytics

IRM's current Business Analytics pathway combines the PGDM with specialised analytics education and a certification from the UK Institute of Analytics. The programme is designed around data-driven decision-making and analytics applications in business.
