Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) is a public technological university located at Kukatpally, Hyderabad, Telangana. It was established on 2 October 1972 and has evolved into one of Telangana's major institutions for engineering, technology, science, pharmacy, management and research.
Following the restructuring of JNTU in 2008, JNTUH became the Hyderabad-based technological university, with its academic network extending across Telangana. The university currently has 8 constituent engineering colleges, 16 directorates and 6 Centres of Excellence.
JNTUH's main campus is spread over approximately 89 acres at Kukatpally. The university currently has constituent colleges at Hyderabad, Jagtial, Manthani, Sultanpur, Rajanna Sircilla, Wanaparthy, Mahabubabad and Palair. It also has a large network of affiliated colleges across Telangana.
The university reports more than 2.5 lakh students on rolls across its overall academic network and offers programmes from undergraduate engineering to postgraduate, pharmacy, management, computer applications and doctoral education.
JNTUH received NAAC A+ accreditation in 2024 with a CGPA of 3.32, improving upon its earlier A-grade accreditation

B.Tech: Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering and other current specialisations.
M.Tech: Structural Engineering, Geo-Technical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Power Electronics, Electrical Power Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Systems, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, VLSI System Design, Robotics & Artificial Intelligence and other specialisations.
MBA: 2-year Master of Business Administration programme covering areas such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Systems/Business-related specialisations and other applicable areas.

B.Pharmacy: 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy programme.
M.Pharmacy: Postgraduate Pharmacy programmes in specialisations such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy Practice, Industrial Pharmacy and other current specialisations.
Pharm.D: 6-year Doctor of Pharmacy programme, along with Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate).
BBA: BBA and BBA (Data Analytics) programmes.
M.Sc.: M.Sc. programmes in areas including Biotechnology, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Environmental Science & Technology and other current disciplines.
Integrated Programmes: 5-year integrated dual-degree programmes leading to combinations such as B.Tech + M.Tech, B.Tech + MBA and B.Tech + M.S., including international integrated programmes.
Ph.D.: Doctoral programmes in Engineering, Technology, Science, Pharmacy, Management Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences and other research areas.
