N.R. Institute of Business Management (NRIBM) is a management institute located at the GLS Campus opposite Law Garden in Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad.

Established in 1998 by Gujarat Law Society, NRIBM has developed a long-standing reputation for management education in Gujarat. The institute is now a constituent of GLS University under the Faculty of Management.

NRIBM focuses on management education through classroom teaching, case studies, projects, internships, corporate interaction, guest lectures and industry-oriented activities.

Courses

MBA: The two-year full-time MBA is the flagship management programme of NRIBM. It covers core areas such as Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Operations, Economics, Business Communication, Strategic Management, Business Research and related management subjects.

MBA Finance: The Finance area focuses on Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Investment Banking, Strategic Financial Management, Mergers & Acquisitions and other finance-related subjects.

MBA Marketing: The Marketing area covers Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Strategic Marketing, International Marketing, Service Marketing, Product & Brand Management, Sales and related areas.

MBA Human Resource Management: The HR area focuses on Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Recruitment, Training & Development, Performance Management, Industrial Relations and related HR functions.

PGDM: Earlier academic structures included a two-year full-time PGDM programme. Current official information primarily promotes the MBA under GLS University, so the availability of a separate PGDM should be verified for the current admission cycle.

Course Eligibility

MBA: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree of at least three years' duration from a recognised university.

For General category candidates, the minimum graduation requirement is generally 50%. For SEBC/EWS categories, the applicable minimum is generally 45%.

Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation can also apply, subject to completing the qualifying requirements.

Entrance Examination: Admission is primarily through the CMAT examination followed by the centralised admission process conducted through the Gujarat admission authorities.

Candidates should follow the current ACPC/GLS University admission rules applicable to the relevant academic year.
