Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is a public State Agricultural University located in Ludhiana, Punjab. Established in 1962, the university has played a major role in agricultural education, research and extension activities in Punjab.

Agriculture: PAU offers B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture through four-year and six-year routes. The programme covers crop production, soil science, plant protection, agricultural economics, horticulture and other areas of agricultural science.

Agricultural Engineering: B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering is offered through the College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology. Biotechnology: B.Tech. Biotechnology is offered as a four-year undergraduate programme, with postgraduate study available in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology & Biotechnology.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with the prescribed Science/Agriculture subjects and marks. An eligible Diploma in Agriculture route is also available.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture: Candidates should satisfy the prescribed 10+2 eligibility requirements with relevant subjects and marks.

B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering: Candidates should have completed 10+2 with the prescribed Non-Medical/Science subjects and meet the required marks and entrance criteria.

B.Tech. Biotechnology: Candidates should have passed 10+2 with the prescribed Science subjects and required aggregate marks.

B.Tech. Food Technology: Candidates should satisfy the prescribed 10+2 Science eligibility requirements.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science: Candidates should have passed 10+2 with the prescribed subjects and marks.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Nutrition & Dietetics: Candidates should meet the prescribed 10+2 Science eligibility requirements. The 2026 admission information specifies Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English and the required aggregate marks.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agribusiness Management: Candidates should satisfy the prescribed 10+2 eligibility requirements and the applicable PAU admission criteria.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Fashion Designing: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent and qualify through the applicable admission process.
