Quantum University is a state private university located on the Roorkee–Dehradun Highway (NH-73), Mandawar, Roorkee, Uttarakhand. It was established under the Quantum University Act, 2016 and is recognised by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(f).

The university has evolved from the Quantum Global Campus into a multidisciplinary university offering programmes across Technology, Business, Graduate Studies, Agriculture, Health Sciences, Law, Media & Design, and Hospitality & Tourism. It currently advertises 100+ academic programmes.

Quantum University focuses on experiential learning, industry collaborations, internships, entrepreneurship, skill development and industry-embedded programmes. Its technology programmes include collaborations with organisations such as L&T, Samatrix and inurture.

Course Eligibility

MBA: Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks. Candidates with valid CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT or NMAT scores are given preference.

MBA – Global: Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks. CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT scores are preferred.

B.Tech: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/IT, with the prescribed minimum marks. Q-CARE, JEE Main and state-level entrance scores may be considered.

M.Tech: Relevant B.Tech/B.E. degree; M.Sc. Physics/Mathematics/Computer Science or MCA may be accepted for relevant branches. GATE-qualified candidates are given preference.

Admission Process

MBA: Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any stream with at least 50% marks. Candidates with valid CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT or NMAT scores are given preference. Eligible candidates complete the online application process, submit the required academic details and participate in the university's selection process. Q-CARE and applicable merit/scholarship criteria may also be considered.

B.Tech: Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech programmes must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or Computer Science/IT. Candidates must meet the prescribed minimum marks. Admission preference may be given to Q-CARE, JEE Main and state-level entrance examination performance.
