Swami Vivekanand Institute of Engineering & Technology (SVIET) is a private higher-education institution located near Banur, Patiala, Punjab. Paramedical Sciences: Programmes include BPT and B.Sc programmes in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiology, Operation Theatre Technology, Anesthesia, Optometry and Cardiac Care Technology. Selected M.Sc programmes are also offered in allied-health areas.

Basic Sciences: The institute offers B.Sc Non-Medical and M.Sc programmes in subjects including Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Course Eligibility

B.Tech: Candidates must meet the prescribed 10+2 eligibility requirements with the required subjects and marks for the selected engineering programme. B.Tech programmes are offered in several engineering and technology disciplines.

B.Tech Lateral Entry: Eligible diploma holders can enter B.Tech through the lateral-entry route, subject to the prescribed qualification and admission requirements.

M.Tech: Candidates should possess a relevant B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent qualification in the applicable engineering discipline.

MBA: Candidates should hold a recognised bachelor's degree and satisfy the prescribed postgraduate admission requirements. The programme has an intake of 60 seats in the currently listed course information.

BBA: Candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognised board and meet the programme-specific admission requirements.

B.Com / M.Com: B.Com candidates should have passed 10+2, while M.Com candidates should possess the required graduation qualification.

BCA: Candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognised board and satisfy the prescribed eligibility requirements.

MCA: Candidates should hold a recognised bachelor's degree and meet the programme-specific eligibility criteria. The currently listed MCA programme has a duration of two years and 60 seats.
